Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is one of the main temple (Jagat Khayangan Temple) in Bali and is located in an area not far from the famous surfing location of the Peninsula hills. Uluwatu Temple is the place of Lord Rudra, the gods of guard Worlds as a symbol of the elements and cosmic forces. This temple was built in the 15th century, which is located approximately 250 meters from sea level and has a beautiful sea view.

According to legend, Mpu Kuturan has built many temples including Uluwatu Temple. He had visited this place twice, the first when he did Tirtha Yatra (holy journey), then a second visit at the time he underwent moksa (Unity with God).

From this temple, we could also see stunning views of sunsets. There is also a regular group of apes found in these locations and to host. Parking space is also available as well as food and beverage stalls.
