Island of Bali has two airport where one of them is Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport, is located in southern Bali, 13 km south of Denpasar. It is Indonesia's third-busiest international airport after Soekarno – Hatta International – Jakarta and Juanda International Airport – Surabaya. The name of Bali airport was taken from Balinese hero I Gusti Ngurah Rai who fought against the Dutch during the revolution war in 1945.

Every  year,  Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport serve more than five millions passengers and has around 25 different airlines in total, with Indonesian base and International base.

At Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport, there are two terminals, one of them is Domestic terminal, located at old building with only 3 gates, 35 check in counters and 2 baggage carousels. Another one is International terminal with 14 gates, where eight of gates have aerobridges.

  • The parking area is 38.358 m².
  • Domestic Arrival and Departure Terminal Area: 9.039 m²
  • International Arrival and Departure Terminal Area: 28.630 m²

Another airport is located at Buleleng regency – Letkol Wisnu, about 3 hour’s journey from Denpasar City. Only small plane or flight carter can be landed at this airport. Letkol Wisnu airport is not yet develop to be International airport or provided with international services as Ngurah Rai International airport at the moment is still the key point International landing, probably in the future, this airport will be developed to increase the visitor at northern Bali.
